    Well i saw it friday night and i was pleased with it...somewhat had the same plot but cant really stray to much from the first...still was "scary" cuz it had my g/f shaking but all and all it was a good movie...it kept my attention from begining to end so thats a plus...go c it if u liked the first 1

    wasnt as good as the first one, or as scary but it was alot more gory i think. all in all it was a pretty good movie

      weird that that say its a true story but most of it really isnt true...did some research on it and most of the stuff from the movies isnt true...good movie but shoot why say based on a true story but yet mostly not be true...like i said very weird

        I agree! It wasn't as scary as the first remake. It did have alot more gore though.
        My only issue with it.. "The Begining"?! The start of the movie is the only part that actually shows why he was so nuts... besides being a freak!! LOL but I digress on that subject. I just thought they could have had a better reason for him going nuts.

        Just my 2 cents

            Yeah, actually the only true part is they based leatherface off of Ed Gein...a farmer from Wisconsin that was a grave robber and killed two women in the 1950s. They use that small part and then say it was based off of true events.

              as i thought about it ya it wasnt as scary as the first one...but i still loved it...the kill scenes were better in this 1 too imo

                I saw it, I didn't think it was very scary at all, just mainly made me want to throw up, two thumbs down.

                  I didn't find the first one too scary, so I'll probably wait to see it on DVD. The scary movie that I'm waiting for it Saw 3!
