      I dont know, advice please.

I thought about this for years and finally decided to do the v6. My reason - better balance for autox and something sexier for the car shows. Price wise, I figured it to be about the same - not cheap.

oooooh no, either way this car will be 12 sec fast. The wiring would really be the major drawback overall with swapping an LS1

i only post on ls1tech if i need an answer to something i cant figure out. other than that i have no urge to post there and become a full blown douchebag.
          Roger,

there are some there but some here, hint hint. At tech you might get a little jostled if you're running 13's or slower, ;) but there is 10000 less ignorant noobs there trying to give you advice, that's a big problem with this site.

I'd say swap or put a junkyard 6er in there and sell it. There is nothing you can do to a V6 to match a H/C/N20 LS1 ;)

btw, can I join team douchebag

I meant that our cars have a lower ceiling than the v8's, that it's possible to get more hp and lower times with a v8. I don't doubt that your car will be fast either way. :)

screw the swap, go buy an LS1 car. The swap, doing it right, is too expensive compaired to just buying one.

I dont really care about having a sleeper v6, beating stock and bolton v8s (sorry guys, its just too much $$)
I just see an LS1 as more economically fast :)

I too will be on team Douschebag

I totally agree, but by the time I do my swap I really hope to come out on top by finding a good deal

What would Lt1tech do if I asked for advice there? :)

Oh and Slow6, you have to have a V8 fbody first to be on the V8 douchebag team.

why? my cars faster than Everybodys!
They may be all stuck up and think theirs is faster than everybody elses but the non-n00bs are gear heads and are a VERY good wealth of knowledge on cars. Very technical guys that know their stuff

Sorry, but its true. I'm not trying to say anything bad about this place, I love this place, its just they have more techs

welcome to the internet, where everyone is a mechanic and has a 10 second car.

seriously most forums are like that, have to wade throught some **** to find the golden info.

also anyone can have a ls1, only a few have a turboed 3.8 fbody.
