I'd like to say I would just spend it, but I don't think I would. I'd prolly end doing alot of research to see if anyone was looking for it, then if there weren't talk to a couple cop friends and see what would happen if it was turned in, then make a decision after that. If the cops were to keep it, I might have found $50K.

Keep it. Nice guys finish last, thats a fact. I'd buy drugs to sell to make even more money, i'd buy a project car that would be completed asap, then probably spend a lot on my car. Whatever was left i'd save

The last thing you want is a paper trail. Don't put it in the bank or buy expensive things. These things raise little flags at the irs. No paper trail, no money. By the way, if you receive a single gift over 10,000, you have to claim it on your taxes otherwise its tax fraud. Then your worried about a guy named Bubba and soap on a rope.

If you found a plane wreck or abandoned car, and discovered a bag of like $100,000 (likely belonging to some gang or mob person) would you give it to police or keep it?

If it were me, and I was certain nobody followed my tracks and it was just me making the find, I would keep it. Stash it away for a year till the heat was off, then I would slowly spend it. Heh heh. Why not?

If I were you I'd give it to this one guy on the camarov6 board, named RT1... he could use it.

about 2 months ago, a guy got shot and killed at the 7-11 by me over a 1.15 taco...

and no, you're not necessarily being honest by giving it to the police. those guys would MAYBE hold onto it but they'd wind up spending it anyways. or someone on the police force would tell their friend the exact amount and have them come in and claim it. the two of them would split 50-50. no screw that, its gonna get stolen anyways, i might as well benefit. if it were like a palm pilot or a wallet thats a different story.
