How do u get a suspended license??

Ok this is like my 3rd ticket in a year, i think. i got my first ticked mayb last november, not sure, tht one i went to driving school for, one in feburaury which was supervision again, and got another one the other day for 55 in a 35. i heard if u get 3 in a year u get ur license suspended, is tht true. i live in IL.

no, I used to get alot of tickets when I first got my license.
Your state is diff than mine, but I bet its the same law.
I dont get anymore tickets but I would really like to say thank you law enforcement for keeping us safe and not being to hard on the decent citizens

You are in trouble. On the third ticket, they give you a spelling and grammar test.

yeah, these laws vary state to state.. my state goes on a points system. get so many points, lose your liscense... so many over the limit, lose your liscense... in PA, youd be screwed right about now.. at least 30 days suspension... id recommend trying to find out the details, either through the state drivers liscence center or something....

Every state is diffrent. In Va it depends on the severity of the ticket. Depending on what you did you get a certain amount of points. In Va you can get 12 negative points in a year or 18 negative points in 2 years then they suspend it. There if you get a 20+ mph speeding ticket its 6 points. For every year of driving with no infractions you get a positive point and can have a maximum of 5 positive points. This was how it was a few years back when I was there so it could have changed. But each state charges whatever amount of points they want and have there own system. You should go to your DMV website and search or just google it.

I should depend on what the tickets were for...rather than how many.

Example;
Getting a few citations for a headlight being out, making an illegal u-turn, not wearing your seatbelt, (etc) should pose no threat of having your license suspended.
Getting citations for reckless driving, speeding, dui, disregarding stop signs or traffic lights, not paying prior citations,(etc) will ensure you're going to have it suspended.

If your only speeding ticket was going 55 in a 35 zone, you should pay it or fight it without worry of having your license suspended.

chances are you will probably lose your license soon.

unless you got them in different counties.

i had 13 tickets in a year, and they were in 5 or 6 different counties.
i kept getting supervision, and then boom out of nowhere i got a letter in the mail saying you have had 3 tickets on one years time, and i was suspended for a year.

on the other hand, my friend has been suspended 5 times.
only 3 months a time though.

Just my opinion. If it gets locked because I think that might as well bring back Stefan. I wasn't bashing cops.

what do people do about getting to their jobs!! do you still drive or what

alot of ppl still drive, although you can apply with the state for a temporary drivers license, or a work permit, where you can only drive legally certain hours in the day, on certain days.

For the year i was suspended.. i barely ever drove.
Once or twice a month.
