my camaro got hit

it's not that bad. the lady just scuffed it up really good. some nice deep ones right down into the fiberglass.

it happeneed right out front of my house. i was parked and had my beater with me. so right across from my house is a big church and school. and a lady dropping her kids off hit it. and left a note. alot of people saw it so i don't see it being a problem getting fixed.

the funny part about this is. the camaro was parked in the same spot as it was when it got hit before.

i knew i should have pulled the car out back of my house last night. the only reason why i didn't was because it was the get away for my wedding on thursday and i was going to detail it today and tomorrow.

now we have to find a new car for the wedding cause i'm using shauns yellow mustang.

oh well by the time i get home from my honeymoon she will be pretty again.

for a second i was worried it was another accident thread. yah some people have trouble dodging those dangerous high speed stationary objects.

i have a somewhat similar story. i was parked infront of a ralphs supermarket and a old guy in a van pulls in infront of me.i watch as he gets uneccessarily close. when he stops he gets out and closes his door preparing to shop or whatever. as he slams the door i feel my car shake. i get out and sure enough his front bumper was touching mine. luckly he had some sort of pad on his plate, i guess he realizes he sucks at parking. so somewhat irritated i back up my car.

Wow, you are really lucky that they left a note and didnt just take off! Glad to hear its going to work out for you. Dam, first the shopping cart incident and now this, you are really unlucky Kristen!

everything should pan out alright. good to hear there actually ARE honest people in today's world.

unlike my bimbo neighbor who thought she could hit and run, but got busted in the act. sounds like about the same amount of damage as the t/a had. it wasnt big, but to me it looked like the car was totaled.

I know we're keeping track of this stuff, so I apologize for not mentioning it earlier. I got rear ended mid last month at a stop light.
The damage was really minimal, it didnt even scratch the bumper itself, but the screws on the guy's 199something honda plate chipped my bumper's paint at two locations.
He was stopped behind me, but then I guess his foot slipped off the brake and he rolled into me. I didnt realize I got hit until I saw his "OH ****!" facial expression.
He gave me a couple hundred bucks on the spot and I carefully threw some touchup paint on it (looks ok for now, you don't see it unless you're looking for it). The car needs a higher quality paintjob as it is (that shouldn't have chipped the paint!), so I've been shopping around to get the whole thing done.

i got the ladys info and i think that i might be able to get the car checked out today or tomorrow.
