wow, what an ending!!! that cardinal pitcher just proved he's big time with that masterpiece for the last out. i didn't think he would strike him out looking:eek: not in game 7, 9th inning, 2 outs and bases loaded..yeah! that pitch was BIG TIME

I'm sure he was expecting the pitcher to throw a ball or two to see if he could get him to chase a bad one.. that's why it was so great, buy the time he relized he had just been thrown a strike:wavey:

The count was 1 and 2 wasn't it? It might of been 2-2, but I was in the lounge and I said,"I bet he throws an outside curve, he's looking for a fastball." Sure enough, a curve ball for strike three!!

game seven, 2 outs, bases load and a trip to the world series on the line and what does he do? goes down looking...WTF!! hes known as the card killer with his 7 hrs against them in the playoffs and he does this?!?! sure it shouldnt have came down to it cuz they had the bases load and guys on 2nd and 3rd a couple innings b4...but come on they shouldnt have left the set up guy in there for the 9th when they had wagner all warmed up in the pen...if i were to get beat id want my best out there so theres nothin to look back on to say i could have changed...but im just that red soxs fan that still hates grady little for leavin pedro in there in game 7 of the 03 ALCS...but anyways GO TIGERS!!
