Big Congrats ahead of time!!!
I know how you feel. My wife and I celebrated our 6th anniversary and I can't believe 6 years flew by quick.
We remember how everything was a mess on our wedding day. My mother gave me a hard time because she decided to participate the last minute.
Her side of the family were 7 day adventist so couldn't do Sat. wedding which makes it hard to find a church much less a priest to marry us.
On the day of the wedding we were being pulled in different direction. My immature/Jerk of an uncle and my insecure cousin interrupted our first dance and turned it into a money dance.
The whole thing was a mess and I spent over 12K cash on the reception to see it become a mess. But in the end I was glad it was over and I got the woman I wanna spend the rest of my life with.
Looking forward to my 25th Silver Anniversary Wedding and I know not to invite certain people by then. My mother will be 75 and hopefully she would have calmed down.
Everything will work out for you and Shaun. Be sure to post lots of pic, esp. of the honeymoon :naughty:
