WTF?!? What are we trying to do? Raise a bunch of little pussy *** pansy boys? Thats part of life, boys are competitive. Parents need to cut the cord at birth, they can't keep in on their kids forever. I can't imagine growing up not being able to play football or tag or some sport at reccess.... :( Its a sad day for america

i got in trouble for playing tag in math class last year
younger kids NEED to get outside and run around other wise they're going to be way too energjectic ( sp? ) to pay attention.

Thats right! Little kids like Loser need to be able to expend their energy in a physical as well as mental way. Otherwise they'll be all pent up and a real handful in the classroom.
This is the first step people, the first step towards Totalitarianism. Just like Britain... very sad indeed. Those of you out there that plan on having kids better stand up for stuff like tag, and touch football, and other games. Otherwise the children of the future will be wussy *** *****es incapable of doing that might "hurt" them.
This just reminds me of when i lived in England... our school was like that and they ended up banning Conkers, Jump rope, Hop Scotch, and all sorts of toys encluding collecting STICKERS!!! It was ridiculous, we had 4 recesses a day and we could do pretty much nothing but stand and stare.... :(

i swear by the time i have kids and theyre old enough to go to school, they are going to outlaw pencils. they might be to sharp and hurt someone

too late, the majority of kids these days are already (())'s. when i have kids they will NOT go to a school that bans crap like that.

I am already teaching my son football. He also knows the finer art of tackling. I want him outside running and burning off energy. I already built him a clubhouse for him to climb on and fall out of. That's what being a kid is all about.

dont they already have that, like safety pencils, or maybe it was just an episode of the Simpsons lol.
Ne way yah things are getting abit drastic. The good ole days of 3 story high metal slide that baked in the hot sun and you actually picked up some speed are gone.

but tag that is just fecking gay, our society is going to be gay, and overrun.
It just seems like we are not teaching our kids to work hard to accell. Especially all that crap about "everyone is a winner" in elementary school sports.
You lose, then you turn around overcome and feel twice as good about it.
You get knocked down, then get back up again.
We pussyfy kids, when they grow up they will get knocked down and stay down, and not know wtf to do but stay home be EMO and cut themselves or something.
we're just raising kids to be bigger and bigger wimps. the army doesnt yell at you anymore in bootcamp, you cant touch anyone else... how the hell does that stop people from getting hurt? when i was a kid, if i wanted to hit someone i did it. better to do it in an organized fashion than just raise kids who have no outlet for their aggression. todays kids are far too damn babied. go out and get hurt! thats what being a kid is all about! that way you dont have an entire nation of people who are screaming and crying everytime they fall down and get a scratch. how are these kids gonna act when they actually DO get hurt or someone else? be calm and treat the injury until help gets there? hell no, they're gonna panic and things will get REALLY outta control.   lawsuits are outta control

my old elementry school was called the Wass Warriors... now they're the Wass "Winners" yay! we're Winners! screw that. like you said, life isnt fair, and it might as well start out unfair. kids dont get rejected until college and then all of a sudden they're in shock cuz their ego got bruised. either you succeed or you dont. and that's all dependant on how u make it happen. i've seen kids from rich families screw up their lives and one of my friends is from a family of druggies and he's putting himself thru college for a degree in accounting. you start kids out weak and they end up weak. all there is to it.

I have seen the same thing with rich kids, and people from bad families.
Our society is based on capitalism... You compete and the best wins... if you lose, you are technically not a loser, you use that experience to move on and improve on yourself.
