  • $400ish; too many plans..

Alright i figure with about $400 what can i really do?

    1996 3.8L with CAI, Borla muffler(not catback)

I want to tint the windows, it has salad shooters, but is 400 really enough to get new wheels? i want chrome if i get wheels..

I want to lower it also, but that's gonna be more than $400 right?

    cam is over 400.

to finish a catback system would be about what would you guys guess?

I have the stock bose system and i'm still deciding whether or not i'm happy with it. I could use more bass, in a stealth box, some kinda 10"

aluminum driveshaft is on the list too.

What do you guys think i should get to first?

Save it, then you can buy the things on that list.

I put 2" lower springs on mine for around $190. Intrax @ Summit. That leaves $200 left.

You cant utilize the full power of a cam without good cat-back exhaust and intake so I would get those first. And, yes a cam is only $400, but you will need a cam install kit which is another $75 and depending on the cam and the car, you may need a tune as well which could cost another $100-$200 (maybe more). Just something to keep in mind.

You could get a cat-back system installed for around $400, then get an intake system from ebay for ~$20. :)

what are the odds of two threads that are about the exact same thing (400 dollars) being posted up at the same time?
