i just got done doing some test driving for today. i drove an 01 jetta vr6 (5spd), 01 jetta vr6 (auto), 98 acura cl (auto), and a 01ish audi turbo v6 quatro (auto). i was most impressed w/ the 5spd jetta. it wasn't fast by any means, but it was peppy and fun to drive. the auto jetta was a waste, the acura was a nice car but i think i'd be bored driving it, and the audi was decent but the car itself was a pos. as of right now i'm leaning towards the 5spd jetta. i drove the v6 which is prob what i want, loaded out w/ black leather and everything. if i can find a 1.8 turbo w/ everything i want i might get one of those.

after we got done looking around for cars i took over the driver seat and got to drive the truck. i got to run it hard on the interstate and around town a little bit. supprisingly it was easy to drive. i thought the stick would be hard to drive on this beast, but it was just like an average truck when you're driving normal.
all in all it was a good day. i think i narrowed down my search a little more. too bad there aren't any mazdaspeeds or spec-v's around here for me to test out. i'll keep you everyone informed on what i get.
