Messed up my Camaro

Going to school yesterday (half asleep), I was turning right at a + intersection. The road I was turning on to was really narrow and there was a big trucked stopped at the stop sign on the road I was turning on to. I slow down and start to turn, when the car on the other side of the intersection starts to pull out. He pulled out quickly and was coming right at me. I turn my head and turn slightly more to th right, and rub the guard rail as I was turning. The worst part, it was the jagged edge of the guard rail. The whole passenger door got a gash and the real panel got pushed in. Even worse, my right rear rim (brand new 2 week old rim) was destroyed and my tire had a hole the size of a baseball. After a moment in shock, I pulled over and got out and nearly throw up. Really bad day yesterday. I will have pics soon. It's really not that bad, but I need a new door, rim, tire, and rear panel :( .

It wasn't totaled or anything and I have full insurance coverage, so it should be all better in a few weeks.

sorry to hear about it. doors are a pretty easy find at a junk yard, and from the pictures you wont need a new rear quarter panel. any good body shop can pull/push that out from the looks of it. might as well shave the side molding now sence the ones on the passenger side look trashed anyway. good luck fixing it, car looks really nice with the rims though.

I actually like the side molding, and thanks for the compliment about the rims. I thought it they have been the wrong choice, but I'm very happy with the way they look.

I actually like the side molding, and thanks for the compliment about the rims. I thought it they have been the wrong choice, but I'm very happy with the way they look.

i really wish i had a picture of my car when i first got it, i had a dent in my quarter panel too, about 12-13 inches long, 3-3 1/2 inches tall and i really dont know how deep, but it was more than an inch and my body guy had no problem at all with it. i have pic's but none of that exact spot :(

if you like the side molding then more power to you, i like mine too thats why i still have them, i was just throwing the idea out there.

nice rims, and nice flat tire!
I dont want to take off my side mouldings, because they've always protected my body. It has red paint all over it and my car is black, so it sticks out!
