Let me first start by saying, I only have my door glass tinted and it is illegal, wayyyyyyyyyyyy illegal...you cant press your nose onto the glass and see into the car in the daytime. Recently Mississippi has started this tint law crap (or at least started enforcing it). When it came time for my new inspection sticker I had to come up with a plan because I didnt want to remove the tint. I thought Id be slick, rolled down my windows then unplugged the window switch in the door, went to the local dealership and played dumb. The guy comes out to do the inspection, tries to roll up the windows...he asked, "do the windows work?"...I said well yeah, they should, I got the windows down!, why? This clown without asking proceeds to yanking the switch panel out of my damn door, plugs the switch back in, and tells me, your windows are tinted, I cant give you a sticker. So I leave, a bit concerned about what Im gonna do, but not shocked. I decided to give it a shot somewhere else. I pull up to place #2 only to see them turn away someone ahead of me for the same reason, so now Im really wigging out. But when they get to me, they checked the lights, horn, tires...but since the backglass is clear and the door glass was already down, they didnt check that....and I got my sticker. Funny part is, I pass this place twice a day to/from work with those dark azz windows up. You'd think theyd remember seeing a late model black/gold firebird with blacked out windows......guess not!!!!Last edited by LarryMow; 10-22-2006, 12:45 PM.Comment

I love Fl, and I doubt they will bring inspections back in FL too...they tried it already...oh well.
