Ok here's the deal, my local dealer has a mustang and a camaro.
'00 Camaro $4400
107k
v6
5Spd
White
Upgraded catback
'00 Mustang $5000
110k
v6
5spd
Red
Stock
Which one's faster and cheaper or easier to mod? I know this is a chevy forum but please give me an honest answer of what you think instead of saying ford sucks or stuff like that...
They'll both be about the same quickness, the exhaust might help a little. I'd go with the Camaro because its cheaper and less miles. Test drive them both and see which one you like better.
<b><i>Don\'t Ever Judge Me</i></b><br /><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/earnhardt132000\" target=\"_blank\">\'96 Firebird Y87 3.8L V6 5spd</a><br />--No mods as of yet, shoot me some ideas if ya want.<br />178,000 miles and counting
The v6 camaro is definitely a quicker car than the 00 v6 mustang. My buddy has one and I walk all over it. I hang with the GT mustangs from 2000. Plus the camaro already has a catback exhaust which is a bonus. Do you know what kind.
My mechanic used to work for ford (he wasnt bull****ting me he has been my dads best friend for the past 30 years and honestly the best mechanic i know) and he said the mustang V8s are great cars but they put crap engines in the v6 and if you want to do mods and drive fast you will **** up the v6 engine go for the camaro.
1. Comero is $600 cheaper.
2. Camero has upgraded exhaust.
3. Cemero is faster (stock to stock).
4. We(camarov6.com) can help you in various way if you buy the comero cuz we don't know sh*t about Mustangs........ 2000 year comaro also have some few things that makes it better than 97-99 camaros (ie, straight tb, cooler thermo etc)
Oh btw, mustang = chick car ..... camero is a chick-magnet...... ..... :)
IMO Camaros are MUCH more attractive cars. The Upgraded exhaust is a big plus, it will sound better and that little performance gain also. The $600 you save, you can spend on modding it. Less miles, even 3K.. If you really like, go with the mustang i guess, but white is not a bad color of F-bodies. The camaro is faster stock, as mentioned many times before. Try to talk down the prices more, i bet you get under those prices pretty easy. I got $500 off my sticker price on my first offer. Start the offer more than $500 under is what i told myself instantly after that..
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
