1. Comero is $600 cheaper.
2. Camero has upgraded exhaust.
3. Cemero is faster (stock to stock).
4. We(camarov6.com) can help you in various way if you buy the comero cuz we don't know sh*t about Mustangs........ 2000 year comaro also have some few things that makes it better than 97-99 camaros (ie, straight tb, cooler thermo etc)
Oh btw, mustang = chick car ..... camero is a chick-magnet...... ..... :)
Not to be an *** or anything but you used like 4 different spellings of Camaro here.:twak:
Im not a huge fan of either. The Mustang V6 sucks *** anyway you put it, I cant tell you how many times i've stomped the local V6 mustangs (Yea that includes the new ones too). Im not a huge fan of the Camaro because of the body styling but its the same car as the Firebird otherwise so I at least know what im talking about performance wise. The Camaro V6 is also good for autocross if your into that. There are quite a few people here that would help you out with tuning and performance work on that car as well. Why be like everyone else and get the mustang (Chick car for sure), when you can get an F-body (the camaro) with less mileage, less money, and more performance (chick magnet)?
Just do the comparison. At that kind of mileage you can expect a lot of problems on both cars.
One thing about Camaro is that they are sleeker looking and they have a better looking interior. It is slightly faster than a V6 Stang.
But the V6 Stang has a bunch of mods that you can buy for it. There's like Vortech, ATI SC's for them. There's also Supersix engine upgrades for them, BBK, Brothers, Steeda, and just a lot of aftermarket stuff.
Hands down Camaro. My 3.8L has walked on Mustang GT's and all I have is CAI and Exhaust. I have a buddy with a 96 (I think) Mustang GT auto and I walk on him all day long. Plus has stated again and again Rustang is a chickcar. But still talk down the price on the either one depending on which you get. So what does that make the vote so far
Camaro 15?
Somehow Firebird got thrown into this 2
Mustang 0

ok, i dont really care, ford? gm? get what you want. there isnt a right and a wrong.
but think about it...
camaro = faster than the mustang STOCK.
camaro + catback = even faster.
camaro + catback = sounds better.
camaro looks more aggressive. very sleek, sexy, stands out.
and i really do think that there is much more for v6 camaros than v6 mustangs. everyone i know with a v6 mustang has had to turbo it to get it remotely fast. im pretty much on par with my friend who has a turbo v6 mustang...
2002 SOM Camaro- Sold
2006 S60- Sold
2000 Cherokee- The desert whip
If you need to be convinced about the camaro you should do yourself a fav. and get a civic, you can get 7" exhaust tips, cool pedals, and vtec type r decals. Seriously though, imo camaro, it gets you the ladies.
Most of your guys reasons have been "Mustang is a chick car, Camaro gets chicks"
If you buy a car based on the amount of chicks your gonna get with it, you need to rethink your game.
The Chebby 3.8 is one of the most reliable engines there is. It was rated in the top ten engines ever if i'm not mistaken.
Just like the V6 stang, you can take parts from V8 F-bodies and use them on the V6 models (suspension, rear end, brakes, interior, body parts)
A Camaro with a catback already means you already have your first mod done. Plus to start out with, its cheaper. If you go V6 Stang, you spend more money for the car itself and then more money again for its first mod. With the Comero, you can purchase another mod, and another mod, and then another mod and you'd be in the same price as if you'd started with the stock stang, but you'd be a lot faster.
Which do you like more? We can only help convince you, but you gotta convince yourself
