what is it with people?

well, im in a neighborhood thats being developed (no houses or people) so i figure id have some fun...not 2 minutes after my friend gets done taking a video, some workers who were working on this house on the other side of the development decides hes gonna chase me (in an astro van of all things), and by the way he was chasing me i could tell he was pissed...so what is it with people? who do they have to get mad at every little thing?! i made sure nobody was in any danger...because there was nobody there!!! and it was like a huge skidpad...can never have any fun :( :bs:

because these people are pouring out their blood and sweat to build and sell homes and all you can do is lay down burn out marks. Sure does help them sell homes to anyone huh? Especially those with kids or just any normal person who wouldn't want someone like you living near them. I would have called the cops on you. Make your parents proud and grow up.

ya, but it wasnt the developer...it was the builder...i got permission the day before from the developer to be there (and he knew what i was doing)

i figured i was being responsible not doing it on the streets :/

The builder should care less about whats happening, they get paid by the hour not by comission on houses.

because theres a risk of hitting other peoples cars in a parking lot...in here the only thing i would hit would be a curb

1. no houses were built

2. nobody around (builders were propably 1/2 mile away working on some house)

3. huge bare pad

4. no risk of anything except marks...which im starting to regret...

the laborers get paid hourly, but the builder gets paid by home, and probably commission.

I agree, you were being somewhat responsible and doing it off the streets somewhere out of the way, but at the same time, you are making the streets look bad by leaving burnout marks everywhere.

Even though the developer gave you permission.

Cops ftl, I mess around in the new developments by my house and no one says anything to me I got a thumbs up once.....I guess we are just redneck round here like that, the cops are overbearing around here though.

At the very least I admitted my mistake when it happened. No sense in lying. Cop asked me what I was doing, and I told him I was showing off, guess what, he didn't write me a ticket, just told me to get out of there.
