  • question that been on my mind

I sometimes wonder who the engineer for the engines of the Camaro is?
Is it a team of people or did one man come up with it?

I know these questions may seem stupid to some of you but I am curently writing a history paper and I am bored so I decided to ask, gives me a reason to procrastenate more.

are you talking about who decides which engines will go into it? i think the process would go something like this:
      1. Marketing does a survey of what people want in a Camaro, who will buy it and for what reasons, etc. and submit reports to engineering.
      2. Engineering will decide which engines fit the bill and report to management
      3. Management decides which engines will go in based on the information gathered
      4. Engineers work to fit the rest of the drivetrain around the engine...

that's pretty much a general overview. I'm sure theres a ton of bureauocracy polluting that whole list but thats the gist of it.
