Having a modified car/fast car wasn't what nearly killed you... unless your car is Christine or something they can't move by themselves....

Nevertheless its good you beat the odds

I was 3 years old and had been taught nothing about christianity. Too bad i cant remember what i was told and didnt tell my parents... i pray every day that i'll be able to see Him again.
I wouldn't give up on modifying cars just because of an accident tho. Theres so much more to it than just going fast. Its the people you meet, the things you learn, the experiances, the bonding between you and the work you do... like i said in another thread just yesterday: You will be fine if you just treat a car (or motorcycle) with the same care and respect as you would a gun, knife or any other piece of heavy machinery. I dont recall the circumstances of your accident, but If you race, do it on a strip where there are trained medical crews there and you have proper safety equipment. People die from everything but we have enough technology today that if you take full advantage of the safety equipment (both the stuff you wear and the inherent safety of a track... i.e. no oncoming traffic) and a healthy dose of common sense you should be fine. I understand that you're shell shocked but dont give up what you love to do... just have more respect for it now, thats all.
I just don't care really to modify care anymore, I see it as a waste of money now, honestly. I wasn't racing, just driving.....I don't love to do it as I did before, I honestly don't even care to do it...

God Speed!!! And yes, I did pray for you.

I'm glad you're OK my friend. I'm proud of you for giving the Man above a lot of credit. A lot of times we tend to forget Him.

Don't say goodbye, just say I'll see you later.

Actually, yeah it was. If I wouldn't have been into modifying/making cars fast, I never would ahve went on that drive, or bought the car, or replaced the rear axle in the first place.

It's not goodbye, don't worry. After posting this same thread on 4 different boards, I have seen the responses frmo others and it seems to be a general view that people want me to stay and want to hear how my future goes. And either way, I thought about it, and it was foolish of me to think of leaving. The prayers and belief that I would live is what has saved my life, and for that, I give everyone unending thanks.
