AIS? After the last one in 04 I haven't heard ANYTHING about it. Seems like after that all the members that went to it kind of difted off except James and Steve, not sure if Jen is still here. I found that weird.

The last time I talked to Firefighter (James), he bought a truck and lost interest in the f-body sites. I guess that's the same with most other members who faded away.

                              Re: what ever happend to...

Ahhhhhhhhh, A.I.S. and even A.S.S. were awesome!

Hell, I was at the Pre-A.I.S. where www.v6power.net (v6 mustang guys) did an event at Cecil and we all got into Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords!

I have made many many friends at these events.

It would be held on a Saturday.... people would show up as early as Thursday and stay until Sunday.

We rented the same hotel every year.

People brought their significant others, families and friends.

It wasn't just all about racing..... everyone who showed up seemed to be good old friends.

The last 2 years my bird did not show.... first time was due to a sticking throttle.... second time was due to me tearing a ligament in my knee, postponing surgery... just so I could go to the event.

The racing was fun... but what I most enjoyued about the events was the time at the hotel with everyone... we would drink, cook, bs, work on each others cars etc.

                              LOADS of fun!

We did crazy things like: remove blowers, install blowers, change plugs, wire nitrous systems, install slicks, install skinnies, weight redux, remove a/c systems, brake jobs and sooooo many other things... all done in the hotel parking lot.

The memories I have from these events will always be cherished by me.... and they stick out significantly in my extneisve racing hobbie.

To everyone who attended.... I miss you all!

To people who never made it there.... it is unforgetable!

I think we have past pictures in the media section.

Maybe one day we can do it again. In my mind, it doesn't need to be extensively organized.... just something where lots of v6's will be at cecil for racing... and people would be at the same hotel hanging out.
