So i've played ice hockey all my life. I play defense and usually average .1-.25 goals per game. I get a ton of assists tho. Well now i'm playing roller hockey and i'm not afraid to get drilled anymore so i'm more confident on the puck. I just got done reviewing my stats and i've got 3 hat tricks (3 goals in a game) in the last 4 games! i've never felt so confident that i can make a difference in a game. i love it! hockey = best sport of all time

Congrats on all the goals! I love hockey.

I've got a game this thursday that will probably tun into an all out brawl if the refs aren't all over it from the begining. We played this team a few weeks ago and their goalie jumped one of out forwards. Then when the refs seperated them he jumped our guy again. It actually happened 3 times until the lady running the league threatened to call the cops. They ended up calling that game and delaying our next game against the team in fear of there being a fight.

We overheard a few guys from the team tell league people we play dirty. They actually said we bite and spit. Mind you as the team was leaving the rink they said they were going to kick our asses.

hockey is 1 of the best sports...i was a defencemen when i play in HS...haha how would u like a 6'3 245 kick skatin at ya when ur tryin to get the puck against the boards lol...i was the scott stevens of my team

i play D on the ice like is said, and the times i dread are when the other team is short handed and they dump it down, or the evil dump and chase. cuz then i gotta skate balls out with another guy who's guaranteed to weigh 40lbs more than me straight at the boards. i usually can get away but sometimes i become one with the boards...

ok, WTB at the end of this post, lol.
i love hockey, best sport ever imo. ive always been a left winger, but am up for whatever. me and a bunch of friends are trying to get a team together to play in the local adult league, should be fun.
i just gotta get some weight back on me. im 5'11, and used to be 195-200lbs when i played. im down to 175, so im sure its going to be a COMPLETELY different game if i dont bulk up again.

now, does anyone by any chance have a pair of skates, or any old gear that they would sell for cheap? i know for sure that my skates wont fit me, and im not sure about pads and stuff.

I was mistaken. We actually play that team tonight and not last week like I thought. I'll let everyone know how the fight club :spank: goes tomorrow. Unless I'm in the hospital or jail that is...
