heres the debate...Either keep the 2000 v6/a4 camaro or sell and buy a 1993 nissan 300zx tt m5. I love the look of the camaro but love the performance of the 300 and im not ready to step up to an ss just yet...tough choice :(

124k? Noooo way. Nissans are well built motors, but being its a TT, its been beat on and raced. Those are really expensive to work on too. If it had less than 75k and was pretty cheap, then thats a different story. I'd keep the Camaro...oops..I mean CamEro. :)

Uhm, thats up to you. I like both cars. My best friend has two 300zx's; A 91 and a 93. I like'em a lot but the only problem that I see is that they break a whole bunch and there is like NO room in the engine bay to work... At all. He has been through 2 tranny's, 8 rotors, 16 pads, 1 complete set of leather seats, 1 brand new engine imported from Japan (don't ask how much it cost, you don't want to know). And they are still slow. Now his car with the original engine has blow head gaskets and won't run, the one with the new engine has it starter all ****ed up, and don't even get me started on how bad the electrical system sucks. The worst thing is, is that they stopped making them in 96? something like that. You won't find one with low miles for a good price or high miles in good condition. Do what I did and buy a WS6.

        \I'm basically his personal mechanic
\\Run far, far away from Nissan

        edit: ****, my Ws6 cost me $8700. It runs a 13.41 @ 102.81 stock. Stick with domestic.

one of the reasons im thinking of selling the maro is that i owe 7k on it now, i want something with a lower payment...so im looking import, cant afford supra :(

I dont think that Z is worth it. I love Z cars, but it was in an accident and they didn't even replace the front bumper properly. There is no ducting in that bumper for the intercoolers to get air.

My buddy just sold his 90 N/A Z32 for a 95 TT Z32. It has 115,000 mile absolutely perfect leather and only cost him 10k. The only things wrong are it has a small spot of oxidation on the front bumper and it needed a new knock sensor.

They are a pain to work on, but they are by no means unreliable when properly maintained and not beat on constantly. I would take one over a V8 f-body any day *ducks* since I'm not into drag racing. They have classic styling, t-tops, all wheel steering, and a twin turbo engine that can easily and safely be modded up to 400rwhp.

                  Re: the debate...

Why not just get a turbo for your Camaro?

My co-worker had a TT Z and he had problem with turbo coking up. Plus it's very difficult to fix and very expensive parts.

                  Camaro looks better.

expensive and no way would i be able to boost a maro as much as a 300 :( about the engine being hard to work on, i have an engine stand and lift...so no problems there ;)

I love the 300Zs... I think its one of the best looking imports to hit the US

BUT, I would never own one, they are hard to work on and not cheap to work on.

I would go as far to say, it will probably give you twice to 3 times the problems an LT1 would. And Lt1s are not pinnacles of reliability. And with an LT1 at least its "cheap" to fix.
