As I said there are plenty of other reasons for going to a bar other than to smoke. Say your favorite band is playing there. Maybe you are friends with someone who works there and wanted to visit them. Like I said, if it wasn't harmful to other people its a different story, but it is.

Why shouldn't we just let other people bring their own open paint cans into a bar so they can sniff them if thats what they like. I mean its no different than smoking in public.

Its been that way in FL for at least 3 or 4 years if not longer. I haven't heard of ANY business going under because of it. My parents smoke and everytime I walk in their house the smell is horrendus.

Maybe you missed the part where someone compared smoking to the sun earlier in the thread. And as far as it being a bad comparison, smoking is messy, it smells bad, its harmful to your health. What does paint do thats worse? People sniff paint fumes to get some sort of high. People smoke cigarettes to relieve stress or whatever the reason. Its really not a bad comparison. A little extreme? Yeah sure, but it shows how ridiculous oposing the ban on smoking is.

And sure lets get rid of bush. Not like hes doing anything worthwhile anyways.

Well, its not really much of a real argument for me atleast. I'm just arguing because its fun. In all actuality I don't really care either way. However, it would be nice to have a public ban on smoking.

That paint can comparison sucked.
