In recent R&T they released an article stating that there will be will a new supra coming out in october 2007 with either the base 3.5 producing 350 rwd horse power as we all have raced before and also the 4.3 v8 producing 450 horse..... Any more proof or is this just another bunch of bs????

Toyota hasn't said anything about a Supra. all the car magazines have had rumors swirling of the Supra's return since the 350Z came out. I think Toyota is too boring to actually do it though. Although they are coming out with an Lexus IS500...

I wouldn't call a supra rice either... You are talking about a 30k$+ car here, that is very well built, heavy and powerful. It would be nice to see them bring one back again, friend of mine has one of the ugly years '91 Twin Turbo, and I'll tell you that thing hauls *** and no ricer mufflers needed.Originally posted by silversixx

Rumors around the internet are that Lexus will be getting a halo sports car not Toyota. I have a feeling if a Supra was comming in 07 we would have seen or heard something more official by now so there would be hype around it. If there were a new Supra think of how much the price of last generation TTs would plummit. They would probably only be $23k for a 100,000 mile car! What a bargain!!!8-7!

yeah, the term ricer is way over used. Someone called the FB rice a few threads ago. Rice has big a** wings, bondo bondy kits, tons of stickers for stuff that aren't even on the car, and a coffee can muffler. Highly doubt it, Toyota still makes a long lasting running car, and I think they always will. As far as the release of a new supra, those ad's were not in English... It is very possible they are doing a Japan release only for now.Originally posted by HokieBird
As far as German cars, man you guys ever try to race an M3? I wouldn't smash European cars if my life depended on it! Audi, BMW, Aston Martin.... Now personally I'm not a big fan of Benz, but they are nice well built cars.
