So i checked my mileage on this tank. The gauge read 1/2 full but its usually off and i had 283 miles on the tank so I decided to get gas.
Factors
+140 lbs in sand bags (ready for wisconsin winter)
+40 pounds in clothes (I take my laundry home)
+Driving like an idiot feeling how CAI helped power, and to burn up the seafoam
-Chrome intakes CAI w/ 6.5" k&n
-Seafoam everything but oil (which is still 10-30w from this summer)

Got 27.5 mpg... 70% highway.

LUCKY! I do almost all city driving and i get like 17 or so. on the high way I get around 28 or so.

best I ever got was 27mpg all city, majorly babying it. I normally get 28ish highway.

and 22-24 all city, no highway.

I get anywhere from 18-24MPG in the Trans Am, depending on how often I hit the gas :naughty:. Mixed city and Highway.

thats not bad at all... yeah our gauges fall quick when they hit 1/2. the A4 V8s dont do terrible on gas, but the M6's do awesome for the power. I'm gonna get 30mpg by the end of the year. anyone know how the 3400 guys do on gas? i was considering that for next summer.

The ol' 3.4 was averaging ~28 mpg with the a/c on highway

Pssshh.. i don't know what you guys do to get that kind of gas mileage... i get 22.5mpg 75% highway... no matter what i do. Baby it or drive like a mass hole... it doesn't matter.

haven't figured it out in MPG up here in Canada, but costs about the same to fill as the ol ladies 98 2.2 cavalier 5 speed and get about 50kms less, so about 3 bucks more for 10 times the fun!

I'm lucky if I get 250 on a tank. Ever since I put the exhaust and intake on, the mileage has gone down the tubes. Of course, I must take into consideration my inferior driving skills and my need to test the maximum depression of my gas pedal now and then. :spank:

lmao, i love how u disguised "spirited" driving. 30s? wow, i'm proud. my moms focus gets 25 and i laughed at her when my old 95 caddy deville got 30 highway. anything from the guys with the 3400 heads? they have fatter injectors so idk if they can do so well.
