My keys opened another car.

So I let my gf borrow my car on her girls night out. They had dinner and everything was normal. They get to the parking lot [its night and dark] and they walk up to a black car. She tries to open the drivers side door but it wont give. My gf is used to not being able to get the drivers side open for some reason--i never have that problem--so she goes to the passenger side, turns the key and opens that up no problem. THEN an alarm sounds. I dont have an alarm system. It turns out it was a black Integra [yes, shame on her for making that case of mis-identity]. She and her friends hopped into my car which wasnt far and ran for it.

Weird, huh. just thought i'd share that little aneqdote

do u have type r badges on the back of urs? cuz that could b the reason y she did? haha well that is interesting that it happend...ive tryin my keys on my buddies gm cars and still havent gotten in yet

the integra or whatever it was probably just had the drivers side locked and the passenger side unlocked and she just happened to pick it out in the parking lot. Doubt your key actually opened it.

2 of my friends both had like 96 eclispses and the companie makes a set of 50 keys for all the cars. it was coinsidense that theirs matched. but yah 2 different companies is weird for sure

my friend has a 93 blazer and 95 firebird...key works door and ignition...swear to god...its weirddd

my dads ford door key to his f150 opens the doors on my 1980 malibu, but the keys for the malibu won't open his door. When keys get worn down sometimes you can open other doors.

My brother's 85' Monte Carlo SS and my 82' Z28 were interchangeable like that.

nope, really opened it. just asked her cause i was thinking the same thing. She said she turned the key and felt it unlock--and i trust she knows what she did
