Hey all I just purchased a 1995 3.4L V-6 Camaro last week and so far i love it. I was wondering what would be a good mod for it without dishing out alot of money. Im thinking about the K and N intake, magnaflow exhaust, and a new cd player. Any other suggestions take in mind im only 18 and cant really break the bank fixing up the car to much.

Re: Newbie to Camaro's here
ok I'll say it first before everyone else. search. there's a number of "free" or near free mods you can do to get some extra HP. Just go to the general tech and search.Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.

My theory is, before any modding should take place, you should give it a full tuneup -Plugs, wires, air & fuel filters, oil & filter, trans fluid & filter change, seafoam it, etc. If I was buying a used car, I wouldn't trust anyone's advice if they say "everything's up to date and it doesn't need anything". I will change all of the parts and fluid myself just to ease my mind.
K&N makes an awesome stock/replacement filter, but I'd recommend buying a cold air kit or making your own cold air kit. Making your own will save you lots of money, but it can be a bit complicated if you don't know what you're doing. After the engine is getting a nice boost of incoming air, free up the exhaust with a cat-back system.
