            Just found out it has 3.42's and limited slip, pathetic huh? 4 months and just figured that out. anywho...
            11500 from carmax.
            Yeah it's a bit much but given the reputation of the place and that it had below average mileage, it was in mint condition and it also ended up having the nice rear end I just found out about. It was worth it.

                Got mine in March of 06. My uncle bought it for me at a dealers auction,..and sold it to me for the same price he paid for it,

                    Bought it 2 1/2 years ago. It booked for ~$7300 back then.

                    1997 Camraro RS
                    3.8
                    48,000 miles

                    Defects:
                    -Keyless entry/alarm didnt work
                    -Whole passenger side cracking/peeling paint
                    -CD player didnt work
                    -Wrecked front end
                    -Interior was disgusting
                    -Wheels nearly ruined from caked brake dust
                    -Exhaust was shot
                    -Stock plugs with 48,000 miles on them
                    -Driver/passenger door lock buttons broke
                    -Left turn signal didnt work
                    -Passenger side window didnt work

                    Paid $5500 and fixed everthing for less than $500 :cool:

                              I bought my black 2000 camaro convertible good condition with 29,000 miles for $8,000 then i totaled it and insurance gave me 13,000 and i bought my new 2000 red convertible 29,000 for about $11,500 in perfect condition only a little nick on the hood but i bought an SS hood anyway so i think i did pretty good
