It's going UP again. I mean I pass by this gas station everyday. Last week it was 2.22 then up to 2.34 and now 2.49. It seems like almost everyday it goes up.
The high octane I put in my bird now cost 2.91.
It seems like after the election, gas prices have been going up. I didn't hear anything in the news about a barrel of oil going up, or am I wrong?
I do remember some making some comments about how gas is going down because of elections, and some people were worried who was staying and who was going.
so magically the prices drop, everyone stops talking about gas prices, then elections are over and its jumped like $0.20 a gallon here.
Holiday's are right around the corner. They know alot of driving will take place, and then gouge the sh*t outta everyone. No need for a hike other than money-in-their-pockets.
I think the price gouging is a little bit obvious, when the Plus fuel costs 18 cents over regular, and the Premium is like 35 cents more. For as long as I've known, its only been 10 cent increases between the three, then all of a sudden this. I didn't know the contents of premium fuel went up that much...
I saw some report on TV, way back before the price increases, probably 6 years ago, and they were stating how stations make there profits by advertising and selling their premium gasses for the higher prices, but only make 1 cent profit per gallon on the regular.
