Re: Just bought a new project toy: '88 IROC Z28

This vehicle is such a gas guzzler though, I believe it's getting 12mpg at best versus the gas sipping 25+ mpg that the 3800's acheive. I'm still blueprinting a plan for a decent tune-up. The interior is ok with the token drivers seat rip and upper t-top liner hanging and the radio presets default to factory settings everytime I turn on the ignition. The only other problem is that the engine sometimes cuts off when hard braking around a corner which I've never seen before in a 3rd Gen but the rest of the car is worth the price I paid for considering the minor problems I will deal with.

I love that car. One day I will have a 3rd gen and grow a mullet and wear a Whitesnake denim jacket with the sleeves cut off and smoke Marlboro Reds and I will call myself cool.

Did anybody see Pinks today on Speed where the blue 3rd gen Camaro whooped some butt?

Das Boot and I are coming to visit, can you please send me an email of your exact address and in this email can it contain a time when you won't be home and the IROC will be sitting in front of the house with the keys in it.

Thanks for your time and cooperation.
