Haven't follow NFL for years now until this season and I'm kinda bummed. I used to be a fan of the Cowboys but this year, they sucked early this season and I think/thought the colts were better so I was routing for Philly. O'well

I do hope you are saying this because you're a fan of the colts or just Peyton and not basing your statement off of quarterback statistics. Because, if you are basing it off of statistics I think you should look again. :P Granted, he is a talented quarterback and one of the best, but, not the best. I've never really liked him much since college due to his whining he did to his daddy and the NFL when he landed on the Colts. *whine* I don't want to be on the Colts and they can't make me, can they? *whine, whine* It was rather funny, but then just showed his true side of not being a team player, unless it was the team he wanted.

um.. manning is the best qb in the league hands down. the guys passer rating is always over 100, makes very few mistakes, and always has a really good completion percentage.

to who ever said romo is better than manning.. he's only played what? 3 games? i dont think that will hold much water. compared to what manning has accompolished stats wise romo is nobody yet.

by the time manning calls it quits he'll own every passing record.

vanquish.. manning never whined.. his brother did. san diego made the mistake of not taking him and choosing ryan leaf. which we all know set the chargers back years until they drafted brees and then rivers a few years later.

im not a colts fan, but you cant deny the fact that no one is better than manning when it comes to stats. he'll win a super bowl before he hangs the cleats up. he wont be the new dan marino.

I'm not trying to say he isn't a talented qb. He is by far one of the best out there right now as far as his passing. But, like you stated about his brother doing, Peyton did the same thing when he was drafted into the NFL. And in my eyes, that's just completely childish of him. I mean, if someone wanted to pay me millions of dollars to do what I love, I could care less what team I was doing it for, it must be a dream come true to play at the highest level of competition in a game you've grew up playing and loving.

What the hell are you talking about? I think the whining part was there for about um......the first three minutes of his pro career. The rest of the time he has been the best in the league, hands down BEST. New England with Brady was nothing more than an accident, Philly and McNabb are like a rollercoaster, and ATL and Vick need to get decent recievers instead of the bumbling fumbling idiots they have in there now. You talk about Manning as if he is STILL whining about being in Indy to play, and I guarantee you he would never leave here, because he knows this is the best team in the league, and his best shot at a SB. I can tell you this much, he was born to be in the NFL, he knew it, of course he was going to be a little dissappointed going into a descimated franchise in 1997 with nothing but an aging Marshall Faulk and a fairly new reciever of Harrison. The only reason why he can whine and you wouldn't is this, he is that good, even when he was in Tennessee, he is that good and was at the time allowed to whine, you on the other hand would be happy to just PLAY in the NFL because.......you aren't that good.

Manning is the best QB in the league right now, better than Brady, McNabb, Rothlisberger, Vick, or Palmer. None compare, and he still has about 6-7 more years left in him to play. I believe that staticially and influencially Peyton Manning will be the best that ever played, better than Namath, Unitas, and......omg......even Montana. You want to compare rings, you got to look at the team in whole, not one player.
