I had hockey tonight so i take the beater out and she thinks its a good idea to take my car downtown on the highway because she has a date and when i come home i was gonna wax it and i open the garage and its gone and she wont be home for another 4 hours at the least im freaking out:rant: :cry:

my dad did that when my step brother took it out when he got his permit, just to get something to drink at the gas station... and about 2 hours later the phone rings, and my step mom screams at my dad "you got robbie ARRESTED!!!"

...He replied.... next time he better ask

My girlfriend called the cops on her sister when she really did steal her Jeep, and drove 2hrs to have sex with an internet guy, not insured or anything. Cops refused to press charges nor take her to jail...NOTHING!!!

When my younger sister was 14 she stole my stepmoms car on christmas eve to go drink with her friends. Ya needless to say, not a good night to do that. My parents :spank: the crap out of her. She was grounded for a year pretty much.

I still remember the fipping out my parents did when i had to move the truck around the driveway and they wernt home.

Hell, i would be scared of steeling my truck from my parents... And its mine!

before i got my license i always took my parents cars out.

My dads tranny wasnt shifting very well on his old buick lesabre. I took it out one night, stereo blarring and didnt notice. All of a sudden, opps, no more second. I drove it back home at ~20 mph parked it and the next morning ( on his ride to work, ehhhhh) he thought he broke it. I felt bad, but it was going either way.

I drove it back home at ~20 mph parked it and the next morning ( on his ride to work, ehhhhh) he thought he broke it. I felt bad, but it was going either way.

When my dad passed away, he had an '86 Chevy Silverado Custom Deluxe edition with a 350 auto......in it was given to me. That and his Harley Davidson, but I was still 13 at the time so I wasn't allowed to drive them. Well one summer day when my mom was at work, I decided I was going to drive up to the gas station and show off my truck and get something to drink and try to pimp a little in my fine Silverado........well I go to the gas station and nobody but the cashier is around so, I just buy a drink and go sit in the truck, waiting 10 minutes and still nobody came to the quick stop so I left...

Well, all went fine and smooth accept I noticed that the tranny wasn't catching the gears all that well, but other than that everything was alright. Finally I'm pulling into our gravel driveway and I press the brakes to stop and at the same time throw it into park. Well the truck slid on the gravel instead of stopping and once it went into park it grinded as it rolled about 5 more feet and it's last foot the tranny stopped grinding and decellerated to a click...click...click... So I was like oh crap and I parked it and ran inside and put the keys back where they were. To my surprise the next day my brother in law came by to use the truck to haul some furniture around and I held my breath. He cranked it, put it in reverse and backed out the drive way, that's when I wiped the sweat off my brow and let out a long breath. Then he finished going in reverse and put it in drive and all that happened was the engine revved high but the truck didn't move an inch, I took a big gulp again. He went in reverse a little more and then put it in drive and the truck started moving forward, I let out my breath again. Then the truck stopped going forward and the engine just revved.

Basically I had to fess up to what I did, but the funny thing was.....If you went in reverse for about 30 feet, you could go about 15 feet forward before the tranny would give out. So, if you wanted to go 2 steps back and 1 step forward that tranny would have been for you.
