  • Time to say Goodbye?

Well, on Friday my Dad and I are going to test drive a 2002 Trans Am WS6 6 speed. The Camaro has been nothing but a Pita lately, so it could be a possibilty that this car will be purchased by my dad. I probably won't be allowed to drive it at first, but who knows. After my accident, problems started to surface. The whole front end is jerked to the right (not from me) and the car seems to be cursed in general. I've hit a guard rail(my fault), a deer(not my fault), and I've lately been having trouble with it. The rear of the car has developed an annoying hop every time I go over bumps. I think it's time to say goodbye to her, and only a year after I got her. I have a feeling that it needs new right rear suspension and the fuel pump wines like a b!tch. Even if we don't get the Trans Am, I think I'm going to get something else. Just tired of the noises and the worries that the car produces. It's really eating me up inside, but I just don't know what to do. When we bought it, I had a feeling problems would come because of the RW title.

Why is it time to leave?? There are quite a few people here with V8's.
Hell, when I finally upgrade to 8 cylinders, i'll still be floatin' around here:)

I wouldn't call it a pile, but it is more trouble than it's worth. My dad owns it, but I drive it. If we were to get the WS6, the camaro would be traded in. I have almost new 35th anniversary edition rims and BF goodrich G-Force KDWS on them. They have like 600 miles on them. I have a whisper lid and SLP CAI. Also have Borla catback.

                      Re: Time to say Goodbye?

That has to suck having parents buy vehicles for you. Well, not in a way because it's keeping money in your pocket or keeping you from having to worry about making money to buy a vehicle.........

But growing up, I watched as my friends parents bought them vehicles but then were able to tell them when and where they could drive it and who was and wasn't allowed to ride with them. I knew from then on that I wouldn't let my parents ever buy me something that they would be able to hurt me by telling me what and when I was allowed to use it and how I would use it.

Sorry, I actually have my stock rims and probably I'm going to put them back on. If I trade it in, I will demod it. I will make sure to post stuff in the for sale section if I get a new car.

For Shirl- the borla has about 2,000 miles on it and is in good shape. I have all the plates for it and stuff. The muffler may be a little scuffed because I bottomed out once with it. The tips are good, but have this sticky stuff on them that was on it when I got them. BTW, Makes the car sound great. I will keep you guys posted...
