OK i was thinking, u kno some of the new chevys where they r 8 cylinders but only use 4 of them for fuel economy when ur not stompin' on it? Well how wouldd they sound exhaust wise. Would they sound like our cars while driving, then turn into a mean v8 sound during WOT? haha, idk i just thought about tht. What do u guys think

cuz regardless of how fast the other cylinders turn on...the v8 with all the cylinders working allthe time will be faster..and i just hate computers in cars....

It probably would be faster, but by what, a few thousandths of a second? it would seem pointless to turn off the AFM on the newer cars. Not worth wasting gas simply for a deeper sound when cruising. If you're not satified enough with the power that it puts down and need sound instead, you can always opt out of the power and buy a Mustang.1995 Pontiac Firebird
