2.73s which i hate,but are good for highway. should be changing to 3.73s in the spring.

Quoted for truth. Things get ****ing scary at those speeds. I've done 140 and it got up there damn fast. No urge to go faster, more urge to be alive then dead from doing 160 +

lol i was like holy **** this is too much for me. im content with knowing that i can get up to those speeds and thats good enough to keep me from doing it again.

I loved taking my Z to 150 but hated using the half a tank of gas doing it.

Fastest I've been in my Firebird was right at about 150-155 but, I had to redline it in 5th to get it there. But, as for the my black '99 vette I've did 160-180 pretty regularly on the interstate in the middle of the night and very very early in the mornings (which is about an hour past the middle of the night) just to try and keep up with my friends and their crotch rockets. My friend Artie has a double turbo-charged Rx7 that keeps up with the crotch rockets just fine. Once he finishes the engine, I think he will be able to take them in a race.

ive had my car up to 150 once on the highway @ 3 am with no one on the road. scared the living crap out of me, but it was still pulling pretty good so im sure its doable for 160+. ill never find out as i have no urge to ever do it again.

Yup its an A4. And at that time the car was stock. When we did it it was midnight, and no one was on the road, but since its light pretty much 24 hours in the summer I felt pretty safe doing it.

I love to go fast. I have also taken my Busa to the big 200 MPH which was awesome cuz thats on the ground but when I took my first ride in the F-15 felt that power nothing will ever be the same. We got to pull 6 G's on some turns and hit mach 1.

I think I hit 138... mostly stock 3.8L with cutout, and t-tops off. 5-speed with 3.23s.

do a search I figured my exact speed.


and yes I have hptuners and had the govenor removed, but just that and a few small tweaks nothing major.

if you remove the limiter does it improve the acceleration any?

I went down to center city today and picked up a Tony Lukes Cheese steak. I hit 110 on 95 for me thats fast and just the smell of the cheese steaks in the car made it so much better tonight was great

My 02 Z28 came with GU2 option which kinda sucks

That's the same rearend I found at the strip lot to do my swap. Gotta love the MPG, LOL.

really man?? i was curious and checked my hptuner stock file and its limited to 160 from the factory, its a 02 formula with 3.23's, a4 also

i feel like i run out of gear at around 95ish. doesnt go anymore.:(
