  • on its last leg,

My car is on its last leg:mad: , and im afraid i will soon have to sell her, i know a tragedy. I am looking into something that wil be fairly easy to maintain and be reliable, lately a few volkswagens have caught my eye, the newer passast in particular. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these, or heard of any major problems to look out for. I've driven my brothers 1.8 turbo 02 passat, and i was impresed, so either the turbo or the VR6 will be what i get engine wise. any input would be great.

    Re: on its last leg,

Personally, I've been looking at MANY of cars recently, and I am very impressed with the Acura TL Type-S.
I've also driven the new GTO (which has some nasty-a$$ kick), a used 2001 Camaro SS, and the new Dodge Charger.

Undecided though. It's a wide range of variety, I know, but I am trying to decide on what I want to keep for the next 10 years.

well its not only the engine, i dont have airbags, its been in a wreck and then half *** fixed, i just dont want to put that kind of money into it, plus my parents think i need a safer car, since they dont like the one i bought, there gonna pay for most of something else. So im holding out for something classy, yet still quick. Also have been looking into audis. I hear that german cars are high matenience, and need constant work that cost you a leg and an arm. any truth in that?

I guess it depends on how you drive it, and how well it's (or was) maintained.

yep I wouldn't jump on one if I was not the least bit worried about cost of maintaining because I was rich...

Buy a new one, not an older one, and I would consider a 02 an old one.
