I'm buying a real tree for as long as possible. A good 8 or 9 footer, with steady colored lights and a good amount of oranaments :tup:
Real > Fake.
Real tree = real ol' time christmas

Fake tree = industrialized american christmas.

LOL. The first part is far from the truth. Maybe I don't see the point in killing the tree because I don't much see the point of the tree. (aka, it's not a hippie thing. I'm all for killing trees for good reasons) Just seems stupid to kill a tree for 2 weeks of decorations.

I am, however, enjoying x-mas more this year because my son is old enough to understand. He's having a blast with it this year.

it all depends on your definition of suck
what sucks for me is cleaning up a bunch of dead needles, getting sap all over my hands, trying to figure out the effing tree stand, watering the dang thing everyday, dealing with trying to get it out the door without dumping 90% of the needles on the floor
to me, that sucks

I don't see how you still have needles in July, do you not vacuum your house at all? I guess soon X-mas will have the same fate as halloween.

i have to have fake, i'm alergic to the real ones in confined area's ...... i can't even stay at someones house very long with a real tree :(

i do like on fake tree's you can put the damn lims where you need them and it stays there, yeah try that on a real tree lol

I love the real trees. We bought a live tree while the wife and I were stationed in Germany. That's the way to go. We just couldn't bring it back. We planted it before we left.

We still haven't found a good live one, if we can't find one by this weekend we will get a real one though.

In all actuallity i wish i could get a real one... but it would be a ***** getting it to the third floor of the apartment... i envy you guys will real trees.
