  • Rebuilding my truck motor...

I'm rebuilding the 2.2L in my '95 Sonoma. My plan is to keep this as my beater for the next 5 years so i can save money to buy a new 'maro when it comes out. Its got 197k on the motor and still runs great! but i just got some money on me now, and when i got my priorities together i need to get this thing reliable so i can keep the camaro out of the salt.

We started tonight by just pulling the motor. This is the empty engine bay...

and here's me standing next to it while its hangin'...

And a pic of me for my halloween costume. I was a red headed step child

Always cool to see a tiny motor ripped out for rebuilding. Resourceful and economical you are, kudos to ya!

By the way, you look like a little bit like Professor Overdrive in the Summit Racing catalogs lol.
