Two tickets in Two days!!!

ok the other day i was driving to work and a state trooped pulled me over for not having a front plate!:bs: i didnt even have a bracket for one either. $81:bs: then lastnight i was out with friends nad we were in a parking lot talking and listening to music while we waited for onew of my friends rides to show. well then a cop pulled in and gave me a citation for "loud noise" he said there is a 50ft ordinance that i did not know about. that one ill probably pay but im going ot fight the plate one!!! :bs: any way im pissed and all this exactly a week from my 19th b-day and they were my first tickets ever!!! damn cops!:rant:

ive never gotten a ticket for not havin the front plate only a written warning and a 5 day period were i had to get it put on and checked off by a inspection shop....but i just took it off after that and have had it off since...that was 2 yrs ago

hell, do like alot of ppl here do....put the plate on the airdam that hangs beneath the car...that way you dont mess up the bumper cover and the tag can still be seen from the front. or better yet, go to SLP and order the bracket that mounts in a way that wont require screwing up the cover.

it already had holes drilled for one but my original bracket had gottn broken adn i hadnt goten new one yet

heh, well you could always move to Flint or Detroit MI... the cops here are WAY too busy to care about bs like that. hell, you're lucky to get them out in less than a half hour for an armed robbery. i live in flint and go to school at Kettering now, and its hilarious cuz if you hand the cops you're school id with your drivers license, they wont touch you (within reason) cuz they know that us and the kids at U-M Flint are the only real decent things coming out of the city (even the river is polluted and nasty)

Move to the southeast. We don't require silly little things like tags on the front.

Although, we will get a ticket if we have our tag mounted on the front and nothing in the rear.

So let me get this straight, ....... you got a ticket because you didn't had your front license plate and you wanna fight it???? ........... i don't see how you will win in the court .......but good luck anyway.........

Round here the cops are to lazy to pull you over for no front plate, which is nice, cuz they'll pull you over for anything else it seems.

well its $81 on a silly thing like that and i could use that money to finish my thirdgen!!!
