Hey, just signed up. I've been looking at this site for a few weeks now while I was in search for a Camaro and I finally found one so I signed up. There's a lot of good stuff here. I bought a 94 V6 Automatic. It was $2,600 - 86,000k - also has a coolant leak. My dad (mechanic) believes it's a water pump gasket or something like that. I just know about cars, not how to fix them... :(

My other car is a 93 Thunderbird. I wanted to ask you guys a favor - I've searched and can't seem to find any videos of a 3.8 V6 Camaro beating a Mustang GT, even though I know they can. I'm also a member of TCCoA (tbird site) and they are insisting that I'm wrong when I say that. I don't think they like me there because I badmouth Thunderbirds (because they're slow).

Think anyone could help me find one, because I'd love to prove them wrong. :)
They think everything Ford is the greatest and T-Birds are the greatest cars ever - they're not. Trust me, I own one.

I think Modded 3800's can beat the older GT's.............. But not so much the newer ones without some sort of major power adder (No2, SC,TC)

5.0 Mustangs. I showed them the first video Shodown posted already and they just kind of dropped the subject.

I can't wait until my Camaro is fixed - I want to race it and my T-bird to see how much the T-Bird really sucks.

a stock 3.8 can beat a pre i think 99 body style GT and older but a stock 3.8 can not beat realistically the last 2 body style v8s.... with some simple mods....yeah but then wouldn't the GT be allowed to have mods too? ;)


though, how about you stop the "my d1ck is bigger" crap first :)

Wait..am i the only on wondering why he is asking about 3.8's when he has a 94 which if im not misteaken are only made with 3.4's??

I didn't start the "my d1ck is bigger" crap. Someone posted is a 3.8 Camaro better than a 3.8 Thunderbird. They all him-hawed and made fun of the Camaros for being plastic. So I simply posted, yes, it is better. Then they got defensive.

the v8 thunderturds are sloowwww. my buddy ran his beater 93 tbird with a shift kit,flowmaster catback and cold air intake and ran a best of 16.6 @ 88. that was his best run of the day after 10 runs. off the line tbirds are a joke.

the sc tbirds... theyre okay at best.. but it'll take alot of money to get them into the 13s. a local douchebag has one and probably 4k put into it and his best is 14.08 @ 96ish.

It's not like Jerry Springer or anything, but they do try to put down Camaros and talk up T-Birds.

The first 8 posts are nice things about Camaros, the 9th post is where they have to start dissing it. There are some people that said the Camaro is better - which, obviously, it is.

Don't seem to be dissing it too badly... in fact i'd say there were more posts friendly to the V6 F-body than not.
