So I look at the birthdays on the board now and then. I see a name that i dont recognize and check it out and 9/10 they have 0 posts ever. I mean whats the point of signing up for a board if you arent gonna say or ask anything?
I don't know, i haven't been a non-member on this board for a while, but i know on some boards you can't read **** unless your signed up. So maybe they signed up just to be able to search and everything

You know when I was at Z28.com I did not post at all. Yeah, I was new and I wanted to learn more about the 4th gen F-bodies before posting. When I was ready to post, FV6.com opened up and I've been posting here ever since.
I know some boards will delete your account if you dont post for a certain number of days/weeks, usually 6 weeks or something like that.
Thats stupid, what about people serving our country overseas. If they get to a computer I'm sure they want to send an e-mail to there family to let them know there all right so far. I'd bet there not taking on fire thinking they need to post on the forum so there account doesn't get deleted. I can see a year or so but 6 weeks? Hell, basic training is longer than that for all branches, even AF. Theres is 6.5 weeks. I guess thats one of the many reasons this sight is so great.
I can think of two sites where I have zero posts. One I wanted to see the content and the other I ment to start posting, but forgot about the site then didn't care.
this has already been discussed many times and it always lead to the big cheeses saying they will not delete the accounts. I would be pissed if my account was closed.

looks like another 5 on today b-day list, I think thats why we should have a new member welcome section! Automatically post when there is a new member, get them talking, more threads, more room for bib, bulldog, and others to post.
