Someone with CarFax, please help

So today I was outside working on my Firebird, and a guy drove down my road(which is a cauldesac) to turn around, but stopped when he noticed we had the same exact cars. Same color, same year, and everything so I started asking him if he uses it for a daily driver, or if he has plans to build it up.......blah blah blah.

Well he said he actually didn't like it, because he drives an hour and a half to work everyday and wanted to sale it so he could get a 4-cylinder for the better gas mileage.

Well, it's a 1997 Pontiac Firebird T5 with 97,XXX miles on it and I offered him 4k for it. Well, he did pop the hood for me and I could see it needed a new belt tensioner, but that's about all I had time to check out as I wanted to get back to my own car and work on it.

Can someone please run his VIN# for me so I can see what it looks like.

Thanks, I appreciate you doing that for me.

I hate that Carfax puts a flood disaster warning on ever car that was around/in the area that Hurricane Katrina hit. I think that will make it a little harder to sell our vehicles around here even if they didn't get affected by flood waters.

As for the vehicles that were flooded, they are selling like hotcakes. If you can rebuild a car from floor up, you can own any vehicle you want for about 1500 dollars that was brand new at the time of Hurricane Katrina.

My friend just bought a 2005 Dodge Quad-cab dualie for $2000 because it sat in 3 feet of water for about a week. It's amazing these deals they are giving them away for.
