Ok, heres a random question: 1974 (or was it 76, i dunno, but the first year of the Mustang II) had the highest mustang sales... so how come its really hard to find a mustang from that year?

Non-PI GT's (96-98) are slow as balls. I would take a built 5.0 or a 03-04 Cobra over an LS1 though.

the gt's from the mid 90's run 16.x
(i had some guy at atco show me the time slips of his, he got it down from a mid 16 to a low 12 over the course of like... 10 years.)

Because mustang owners deny that the II's were ever built, and they burnt all of them back in the fire of 1986, now there are very few remaining and when a mustang owner sees them they run them off the road, and send them to junkyards. It was a dark time for mustangs...and all muscle cars.
