why do people buy these cheap cars and then proceed to spend thousands of dollars on them? I saw an old ford focus wagon(not svt) the other day with lambo doors. The guy probably spent more on the doors than the car. My question to these people is WHY?!

He had that ridiculous gauge pod that had nitrous and a boost gauge, yet in the end it said "mods to come - turbo/nitros" ...he probably has nothing under the hood...just a bunch of overcooked rice on the outside

I agree with thor, sure ricers are gay but there has to be diversity, even if it is ugly. At least they have a passion towards gayness. In all seriousness it is just a hobby, they just started off on the wrong leg.

With all the money he spent on that i bet he could have bought himself a really nice car. I think the same thing about my car sometimes... with all the money i've spent on mods (not a whole lot, but i've had 3 diff. exhausts) i realize that i could have bigger payments and could have afforded a V8 or something a little more pricey.
