a friend of mine found 4 LS1 camaro cop cars at an auto auction, and im pretty much ready to go pick one up... there anything i should really be worried about when it comes to these cars? i know mileage, but for the price of em, i dont think you can get a much better deal

Go for it .......... they are built tough........if it was a highway patrol then it's all highway miles ...........i can run carfax if you want but i don't think any accident will show up ...........good luck

Im from the SW suburbs of chicago, and I know Illinois State Police drives the camaro's.. I see them all the time on I-80 , I-55 etc.
They are mainly highway vehicles, with high mileage..
And i dont know about those, but it seems like whenever I see the interior of a police car or undercover car like that, they arent in very good condition ( torn seats, worn carpet, scratches and holes in the dash from the police console, gun belts etc...*Matt
