  • Lucal Oil Additive setup in autoparts stores

Ok, I know everyone has seen them, the little setup on most autoparts stores counters with the little handle that is connected to the sprocket that shows the difference between regular motor oil and motor oil with Lucas Oil Additive.

Well, me and my friends were hanging out up there goofing off like always, playing around in the store and we decided to put that little setup to the test.

We hooked a drill up to the handle and had it going full blast. Well, needless to say the regular motor oil performed better. The Lucas Oil additive started to foam up and slide right off the sprockets and then at full speed it wouldn't even really catch on to the sprockets. So it made me realize never to put that stuff in my engine again.

its an additive, not a full oil change.... i put it in mine, my car runs smoother with it that w/o it.... it got rid of my vibrating while idling....

they have a "race" version of the stuff too, I used it once and would like to believe I felt the power! but i know it was just wishful thinking, I have since scrapped it for full synthetic.

Lucas Oil Company is less than a mile from where I live. I've been trying to get a sales job there.

I didn't buy the additive but I bought the one for the gears and let me tell you, my truck's gears are a lot quieter now.

I need to change Tranny fluid pretty soon. I'll go see if they have one for that.

I've added it to the oil in my Honda Odyssey, and it got rid of the small valve tap that's been buggin the crap outta me. Haven't used it in anything else though.

their stuff for transmissions is better than the oil additive. my old beater (94 blazer) had high mileage and the tranny was in rough shape.. after a bottle of that, it started shifting better and everything seemed to quite down some. It didnt stop the leak I had however....

I also use their injector cleaner too.. bout a bottle every oil change...
