I always wore glasses until I was 18, just because I got so freaked out about putting anything into my eyes. Finally one day I just got so damned sick of the glasses that I really committed myself to learning how to put contacts in. My life has improved tenfold since I made that decision. My confidence went up because I wasn't wearing glasses around, I look better, and to top it off I see much better. I still struggle sometimes gettting them in and out, but I can lie in bed and watch TV without being uncomfortable, I don't have to worry about glasses breaking, and I can actually wear sunglasses without going through the hassle of trying to find ones that will fit the thick-*** lenses that I have to wear (I'm almost blind) Glasses are a much bigger PITA than contacts, even if you have trouble putting them in.

Get contacts if you can't get laser eye surgery, they're worth it.

I got glasses last fall because I have a slight problem with reading street signs from afar, I have a small case of near sidedness and a astigmatism, but I never wear them anyways

no nothing here. my eyes are perfect! just like me and my camaro!!!(just a joke, i'm not the cocky)

I know some girls who have perfect eyesight just like yours but they wear fashion contact lenses ............... the colored ones .............. they are awesome! ............. i think, i'll ask my optometrist if i could use them(colored lense) ........... i think they are HOT! ...................

It seems like everyone had a great experience with contacts ............... those of you uses contacts lenses, where do you buy your lenses? .......... i found a website named www.visiondirect.com ........... any other sites that sells cheaper? ........... sorry if i ask too many questions .......... i am kinda the guy who does all his homework before making a decision ............. i want to know everything before i do something ............. thanks for the input guys! ....

i wear contacts -9.00! With contacts i have 20/15 w/o it's like 20/3000. no joke.

I quit wearing them, and went back to the doctor a few years later and my eyes actually got alot better.

i have green eyes and love them. i wouldn't want to change them unless i could get them to say camaro acrossed them

I get mine straight from my eye doctor. I have great insurance so it's all covered and I don't worry about the price.

Yes, I wear glasses mostly. Sometimes I'll put the contacts in, like if I want to sport some sunglasses or getting dressed up or something. But mostly I wear the glasses, it takes away from my almost uni-brow.
