I've never had a problem with mine. Like I posted earlier, I've had the car up to 113 with them on, and that was over 100 for about 20 min, and no problem. IMO Blackouts > Niteshade.

i have one of the GTS carbon fiber covers if you want. i forget if you said it was both of them, or just one... and im too lazy to go back and check.
i took mine off when i was at the track, stuck them in the back hatch. while i was waiting in the staging lanes, i had my helmet sitting behind my front seats, on that rear seat delete thing i have. i forgot my helmet was there, and accelerated a bit to pull up, my helmet rolled back, and fell into the hatch, crushing one of my covers.
