Now the kicker:
The car began to show rust many of years ago, so he went to a hardware store, bought a gallon of WHITE PRIMER, and used a roller to paint it all over the car! Even over the tailights, chrome badges, and partially covered the windows. TRUE story! I went past his house earlier this evening when I was working and it's still there. He's had multiple collectors offer to buy it from him as-is, but he doesn't want to get rid of it...:cry:
If I'm around that section again, I'll try to remember to take pics and post them here. It will make you cry!sigpic

That has been my dream car... well, ever since I had dream cars
I would kill to have one, and man, to WIN one, and then NOT drive it, Id go crazy.

my dad had a 71 challenger PLUM CRAZY PURPLE wonder what he could get for it if he still had it now
