key sitting up in a crack in the road, 900 pounds of car sitting on a soft, hot tire due to driving rolls over it and bam. the wierd one is how the bolt with a nut on it gets into the tire then the nut comes off the bolt :D
Looking at the pic, that really sucks! Beats my experience with a broken antler from a dead deer I thought I missed but punctured my tire one fateful night leaving the Poconos.

my friend and i were coming out of the store and i was like dude your tire is flat and we attempt to take it off but it was rusted on so we called a AAA and they came out with a rubber mallet and started beating away on the tire and it wouldnt budge so they got a **** load of wd 40 and tried it again and it came off bit we notices several large wood chips lodged in the tire
Maybe I'm missing something, but can't you get it fixed? I've have had bigger holes than that fixed. Even if you have to get a tube put in the tire, it would be cheaper than a new one - right
