its a max weight that your car should weigh. so if your subs and a cooler gets too close for your 225lb girlfriend to go to the lake with you, now you have excuse to leave her at home.

my car weighed in at 3270... if the hoist can lift 2 tons(4,000 lbs.) in theory it could lift your entire car off the ground.

          get a harbour freight one.

I thought a ton=2k not 1k.......I'm not an idiot there. I am an idiot for believing that the door sticker was the actual weight and never thought it to be the passenger weight +ride weight capacity.

And the greatest thing I've seen wasn't on a low rider.....they all have the same...."Chicks like guys who go down" and things of that nature.....but my friend had a tahoe that stood high enough in the air for my brother in law's low rider to park underneath it.....well anyways he had on the back window "Raise it, Fat Chicks can't jump"

But if it's bagged.......it can go up just fine. Anyone who body drops their truck and doesn't have it on air ride suspension is a fool. And would definately not make it 3 blocks around here with all these bumps and potholes.

I actually saw somebody get stuck on a speed bump because they had no way to raise it. Funnier than **** watching three guys trying to push a truck off a speed bump.

That is pretty funny. I've seen something similar to that. The guy's air compressor had a leak somewhere, so his tank would hold no air at all.....meaning he was unable to lift it back up. He got stuck on a speed bump, but being lazy, he decided to leave his truck there on the speed bump.....got a ride to his house, picked up another compressor and came back to install it (middle of a parking lot).

It was lazyness at its greatest.
