I foresee a major family dispute coming next week...my cousin Lisa in Reading, PA is a huge Eagles fan....and with me living in Hattiesburg only 100miles from New Orleans---I am a Saints fan. I'd soooooo love for the Saints to win after all the city has been through. Regardless of who wins though, both my cousin and I will torment the crap out of each other. It's been so damn long since any professional philly team has brought home a chapionship, that people go nuts like ^that^ just during a WILDCARD win!

I love this underestimation of Philly, because if the Saints are doing the same as everyone here and not giving the Eagles credit and respect they deserve, like the other teams they have played in the last 6 weeks or so, Philly will roll the Saints.

As long as I have been a diehard Saints fan, growing up 3 blocks away from the Superdome and now only living 45 miles from the Superdome..........I could go without seeing them win a Superbowl. Why you ask? Because season tickets where I sit is already 6k.....imagine what I will have to start paying if they take the Superbowl?

And yes, because of Hurricane Katrina, it seems that everyone in America wants the Saints to make it to the Superbowl, and even more of them want to see them win it because they feel we deserve it/need it. I say they need it and deserve it, but seriously I never even thought I would see them in the playoffs this year. I went into this season with the thought of a rebuilding year, finding out who the key players would be and hoping that Peyton could keep his head together and bring the entire team together and utilize the key players a little more than what has happened in the past. Well, for it being his first year at HC, he's the man (guess that's why he took the award) and did the greatest thing I have seen the Saints do since the very early 90's.
